Bards (Housing Issue, 2007)

When I met this family and entered their house, I immediately came up with the idea that it was necessary to soothe, caress everyone and create a place for each person. The house was governed by a cacophony of colors: bright lemon, burgundy, green ... The style of the space was chaotic and illogical. Therefore, I wanted to “brush up” the room, to determine everyone’s place for eating, sleeping, doing his or her creative work. It was necessary for the father to have a corner where he would be able to practice his favorite thing - music, because he writes lyrics and music for songs. But most importantly, I wanted to bring to the interior a full bed for the parents, because they had been deprived of it for many years. The bed, designed in the modern Baroque style is the pearl of the interior. It reigns and governs. I divided the space into two zones separated by a thick concrete wall. On the one side of the wall, there is a bed with a movable acrylic table. On the other side, there is a wardrobe and the father's music kingdom.

Angels (Housing Issue, 2007)

When I met the heroes of this apartment, I was shocked by the feeling of absolute love that bound them. A young couple. He is a pilot, she is a real angel. A dedicated, gentle, smart blonde. When I saw her, I knew that I wanted to decorate the interior with pictures of her. A clear image of the sky was born. The interior developed as a completely white one. I wanted them to be buried and luxuriate in marshmallow clouds. All the furniture is made in the modern Baroque style. But in order not to create excessive mawkishness, I had to come up with a neutralizing background for the interior. I had an idea to paper the walls with ordinary newspapers, colored by a transparent white lacquer. I was particularly pleased that exactly nine months later, the couple had a child.

Marta the Fish (Housing Issue, 2008)

I have just got back from Venice, and here is a gift! A new project for the princess named Marta. Marta is two months old. She was named in honor of her birth month. Pisces by horoscope, the water element, a sensual and mystical personality, like my favorite city. I have always identified cities with human images. So, I wanted to bring the atmosphere of vintage, classical eclectic that Venice is famous for, into my girl’s room. An image of the music box, which used to amuse babies in the distant past, was born. Despite the fact that the interior seems conservatively classical, everything in it is filled with an atmosphere of creativity and play. Here we have a chandelier reminiscent of a toy - rattle. A pink tutu and pointes are hinting Marta at the possibility of practicing choreography in front of a huge mirror, which is framed in a sophisticated frame. She can draw on the excess roll of wallpaper, which covers all the walls of the room, on its reverse side. I have provided an easel. A small sofa, which was created by means of a lowered sill. Here Marta can look out the window at what is happening, because the window gives into a beautiful park. Two wardrobes (after all, a princess should have a lot of beautiful dresses!) come into harmony in their lines with the great linen headboard of the bed. The headboard sparkles with silver studs. Finally, the bed itself. It is like a boat sailing on the sea, the waves of which are drawn on the floor. The boat lulls and swims into the tempting world of dreams and fantasies, which will be interesting, amusing and fun for Marta.

Hedgehog in the Fog (Housing Issue, 2008)

A charming and friendly family where several generations get along living under one roof. It's funny that the age difference between the household members does not trouble them in everyday life, on the contrary, love for poetry, literature, sensitivity to nature, the tradition of having evening tea increasingly holds these lovely people together year after year. My favorite cartoon "Hedgehog in the Fog" served as a leitmotif for the project. Gray coloring, multi-layeredness, the touching philosophy of life. "Heeeeedgehooog, Heeeeeeedgehog!" - that is how I see my characters calling each other for joint cozy get-togethers at the table. Two comfortable sofas are arranged to face each other for the poetic duels between family members and their friends. Wardrobes are located in the former balcony, which is connected to a common living space. Thanks to this, the room has more daylight and the space has become deeper. The English wallpaper depicting wild plants, the abundance of living fern in the interior, the décor with the use of living vegetables and berries, natural hay in tubs and under the dining table’s glass top, the lamps, reminiscent of street lights ... All these strange, seemingly incompatible parts make the interior of lively and the naive , poetically-quivering. Just like the characters of these program.
