Nadezhda’s Apartment
This apartment was to be created for a newly divorced woman. In other words, for someone who decided to start from scratch. The project is called "Nadezhda", that’s the name of the character (Nadezhda is a common Russian female name which is a homonym of the word “hope” – translator’s note). The landlady is a very soft and delicate person. So Viktoriya decided to choose a corresponding interior. She used her favorite techniques - a combination of different textures - in this apartment, there is a lot of concrete and warm textiles: plush, velvet, natural shades. But this difference only emphasizes the dignity of each other. The complexity of the space was that the windows were aligned. And daylight had to be pulled along the entire apartment’s length, up to the front door. In this regard, interior doors had huge glass windows. As a result, the apartment is filled with a lot of light, air and hope.
